A canvas for mapping business ideas, your way.

The Business Model Canvas is a blank visual template based on the business model canvas Strategyzer made for structuring business ideas, giving you full control over how each session flows. Use it to design, test, or refine business models with teams, students, or clients—one idea per note, one block at a time.

Each type of the canvas works the same across strategy sessions and workshops, but some materials just make the process smoother for different setups:

  • PVC: Tear-resistant and easy to roll up, making it ideal for facilitators running recurring workshops with Stattys Notes XS. It handles repeated repositioning and travel without wearing out.

  • Synthetic paper: Lays flat and doesn’t curl, which makes it great for team alignment sessions or structured tabletop work where stability and tape use matter.

  • Printed paper: Best for classroom use, short-term projects, or pitch events, where the canvas is used once or sparingly. It’s lightweight, affordable, and easy to replace.

Each version of this canvas helps you design value with your customer in mind but the right material can make your setup smoother:

  • PVC: Tear-resistant and durable — ideal for repeated use in professional workshops. Works great with Stattys Notes and stands up well on whiteboards, mobile stands, or easels. Perfect if you’re running sessions often and want a reusable, travel-friendly setup.
  • Synthetic paper: Great for team-based exploration of customer segments and value fit. It lays flat on tables and doesn’t curl, making it perfect for deep dives, assumption mapping, or side-by-side comparisons of multiple personas.
  • Printed paper: Best for one-time use in pitch events, student workshops, or quick ideation sessions. Lightweight and affordable, this version is easy to distribute and pin up, especially when guiding groups through customer pain/gain mapping for the first time.

Turn business ideas into something you can build on.

The Business Model Canvas gives you a clear structure to map, test, and adjust business models on clean layout with or without prompts.

When ideas stay in your head or buried in slides, it’s hard to move forward.

This canvas gets your thinking out in the open with a team. You fill in the 9 blocks, from customer segments to revenue, and see how everything connects

If you want more direction, use the version with printed trigger questions. The blank version gives you full freedom to map it your way. Both are designed for flexible, hands-on use in strategic conversations.
